I am a designer, illustrator, and visual artist. Brazilian, with a degree in Graphic and Digital Design from the Istituto Europeo di Design, I built my relationship with art through family life. I grew up watching the women in my family at their canvases: my grandmother in her studio at the back of the house; my mother, painting quietly in the laundry room late at night. I also watched my grandfather selling his works at street fairs in downtown São Paulo.
Art has always been present as a space of expression and resistance. Growing up in this environment shaped my eye for color, form, and composition, and led me to understand creation as something inevitable, a vital gesture, because not creating is more painful than exposing myself artistically.
Being a woman, Latin American, Brazilian, and an artist is, for me, a political stance. My works, colorful, contrasting, and shaped by geometric and abstract forms, reflect a continuous search to give form to what pulses within me, whether it constricts or overflows. Always from the inside out.
In both personal creation and the job market, I seek to bring this critical and sensitive perspective to every project, whether in a design layout, a commissioned illustration, or an original painting. I always try to bring into my work what impacts me personally. Whether my own references or a feeling that lingers. As well as the external forces that shape us collectively. I try to hold these tensions, turning them into images that express both the intimate and the collective.
