Poster Calibã e a Bruxa – Agro e a Bruxa Illustration

Risograph print

Developed as a limited-edition poster for O Calibã e a Bruxa – Agro e a Bruxa, a journal exploring agrarian resistance, feminist thought, and historical memory. The illustration is also sold as a collectible art print.

The design interprets themes from Silvia Federici’s seminal essay Caliban and the Witch, connecting the oppression of women, land enclosure, and colonialist exploitation within agro-industrial contexts. With bold, simplified forms and contrasting color layers, the poster visualizes the intersection between agro‑colonial power and resistance rooted in feminine identity. The graphic narrative emphasizes symbolic figures—witches, rebellious women, Caliban—and agricultural motifs rendered in a dynamic and textural layout.
